Does this look like an error on the date? Looks like the 1 is turned into an L.

This coin looks polished. Note the outline around the devices and the flattening on the highest points. Looks like the 1 cam loose and is more into the position it is now in. PSD

It was rubbed with a lens cleaning cloth because it had so much grime on it I could not even make out the date. That was when I noticed the 1. If the 1 came loose and bent into the position it's in now that would have to be a really long 1?

I put it under more magnification....and yes the top of the 1 was sliced some how
and it has bent into that position...oh well next time I will look with more
magnification first...thanks...

As a general rule never clean coins. Lets say this coin was valuable, that is until you cleaned it. So do not clean any coin as a general rule.
