The recent converations about the grading of Liberty $2.50 gold coins has led me to post a couple of pieces for you to grade. Here is this one which is in an NGC holder. I bought it raw when I was high school.

NGC graded this piece MS-62. It has a satin finish which graders don't seem to like. Still the surfaces are original and have never been dipped. I think it is an MS-63.

By the way I bought this piece from a camera (mostly), record and coin store in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware in the mid 1960s. It was called Rogers Photo.
