I have two 1939 Canadian Dollar Coins. Both are in excellent condition but they have not been professionally graded but my pictures will show the quality. Both have double or possibly triple "hp". But one of the coins there are three dots beside the word dollar. I have no information that would suggest that it is a defect or is man made. I see no scratches around the dots. Any comment would be helpful.

the HP doesn't look doubled, but if it is, it is too insignificant to get any attention or premium. the 'dots' are gouges in the coin and are a form of post mint damage. the coin looks circulated, so no grading service is required as these are plentiful in any grade up to MS-66 where only a few or so coins are certified as such. if you like I could show you a quadruple HP example which shows lots of thickness and is very noticeable.
Feel free to call me Will.

Trying to get a picture that is acceptable . I am not having any luck. When it says to upload and if I choose to take picture my iPad just shows a black page an can not take a picture. All my previous pictures on my iPad are too big. I try to resize by editing picture but that doesn't work either. HELP,!!

Krisnb, I've never had any luck using the image optimizer with my iPad either because I can find nowhere to download the optimized pic. Anyone else experienced success, feel free to share. Otherwise it works very well using a PC.

For the last question I resized my picture myself and have them loaded in Dropbox so now I can find them. Now to my topic I hope this solution works. I have full coin images, so the previous answers can take a look and then I will try zooming in on the dots and hp
