no, don't delete it, assuming the mods are ok with it. I find it very funny and I love wildflower's reference too

Pennache means a bunch of feathers. The OP in the thread referred to by thedollarman calls his coin that because he believes the multiple sevens resemble a feathered headdress or so he said somewhere. He also had other names for his coin and himself over the years.

That is a lot of money, given the poorer grade of this example....

I never thought that I would see this coin resurrected and actually sold to someone who doesn't know the history. The original threads on this had the owner dreaming up new names for it for a few years. He finally settled on pennache because the "ache" at the end was in reference to an Apache headress that he said the it resembled. Then there was the 777 part. The guy who bought this will have a hard time living down the way that this thing has been flogged for 7-8 years trying to build up interest.

Just missing the eye appeal, but someone kind of liked it for a decent price, some of the cooler errors garnered nice prices, while the who care types brought, who care pricing.

It wouldn't surprise me one bit if in a week or two the coin is posted in this forum by someone who purchased it looking for some info on it.
