Here I am again,
I have a 1958 D Quarter and I think it has a Double D. If it has a Double D is there any value and could I buy lunch or dinner if I sell it.
Thanks in Advance
Anthony

To me it looks like machine damage on that device. I don't see any other areas affected by this after strike issue. But it is flat like MD looks. Check on other devices that might have the same thing on the same direction as this device is affected? You might see MD there also.

with coop. Looks like MD to me. No added value. Also, if it was a "double D" you would not call it as such. They are known as a repunched mintmark. Keep on searching and I'm sure you'll find something

Mint mark has signs of circulation wear on top of the MD.

Good news its still silver. Though the silver spot price is still down I believe. I haven't checked in months because it been to depressing to watch.
