Old home built 1917, removed last week before I secured permission to search. Went last night 7:30_9:00, first signal, a schlage door key, next signal 1991 Dime, thought this could be good. Well there was a lot of trash, did find 2 Memorial penny's before dark. Webekin

Worked a curb next to the Liquor store, which was the Swrilley Top ice cream store when I was a child found a 1990 quarter, 2 memorial pennys, and a Ronson PRINCESS cigaret lighter. More to search there as time permits. Webekin

Keep at it. You never know what might be hiding in there. After the rain go back over areas you might have already searched. You may have missed something there.

Returned to the lot next to the package store, searched to the south curb, where I found '44 D Wheat penny, next signal 8" over a 1975 nickel then a 2000 nickel, and finally a 2000 penny. Know the owner of the empty lot south across the street, need to get permission to hunt the curbs there. Webekin

The area between the street curb and the side walk. Back in the day, visitors would park in the street and walk to the front door to visit. When returning, to the car or buggy they could loose money, when they had holes in their pockets. This area is sometimes called the parking, and should be in the city right of way. But maintained by the land owner, thus permission needed. Webekin

I didn't realize that you meant it literally. Like literally on the curb of the street hunting.
Thanks for the clarification.

Returned to the lot next to the package store this evening, Hunted the south end along the curb,no luck. Returned to the area where I finished last week and worked south, found almost on top of the ground, a 1955 Canadian cent chrome plated with a hole in the top center. Shortly after, found a 1944D penny next to the curb. So it was a good evening. Also ask for permission for the lot across the street to the south, and the owner said yes tonight. This lot he said had been hunted by others before. The local chevy dealer lived there in the 1950-70's there is a circle drive the house is gone. Webekin
