Lot arrived in the mail yesterday, but did not have a chance to image/upload the coins. I'll just defer to the seller's pics:

New-Cash-Coin-Lot---Japan-Or-China?

I know that at least two (top left and bottom left) are Nagasaki trade coins. The rest I am not so sure about. Any ideas?

Some of them appear to have been cleaned quite harshly, but the seller is reasonably well established, and they all "feel" genuine.

I've been waiting for someone with more experience than I to comment on your newly acquired coins. Not sure where you got the info. re the Nagasaki trade coins but I do not see those coins in David Hartill's 'Early Japanese Coins'. They look to be Tang Dynasty K'ai Yuan coinage AD 618-907.
As you write, some of the coins have been harshly cleaned and are difficult to attribute. You might try these links for additional help:-

Those are all Chinese. The two you singled out are Tang "Kai Yuan Tong Bao's". The rest are common North Song cash coins. They are older than anything Japan has produced as far as my knowledge is concerned.

The middle coin in the top row is a Northern Song 'Cheng Ho Tung Pao' from the reign of Emperor Hui Tsung. It is in seal script and would have been issued between 1111-1117.

Lets try this. I will be going from left to right, from top to bottom.

Kai Yuan Tong Bao
Zheng He Tong Bao (seal script)
Xiang Fu Tong Bao
Tian Sheng Yuan Bao (orthodox script)
Yuan Feng Tong Bao (running script)
Huang Song Tong Bao (orthodox script)
Zhi He Tong Bao (orthodox script)
Tian Xi Tong Bao
Yuan Feng Tong Bao (running script)
Yuan Feng Tong Bao (seal Script)
Jia You Yuan Bao (orthodox script)
Kai Yuan Tong Bao
Zheng He Tong Bao (orthodox script)
Yuan You Tong Bao (seal script)

I have no more information to offer as I am not looking at a catalogue right now. Info should be easier to find now that the coins are identified.

I guess what's interesting is that because Japan lacked the capability to cast coins at a large volume, Chinese cash coins were widely accepted. Pretty ironic after a good millennium later, Japanese silver coins circulated in China. The first coin was actually cast around 700 AD. Here is Japan's first type of coin: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wad%C5%8Dkaichin

The first few types of ancient Japan cash coins are scarce to rare as many were melted down due to metal price fluctuation. Iron cash coins on the other hand are plentiful however hard to find one without various problems - I often find them heavily rusted.

That said, I need to find my collection of Japanese cash coins - never got around to cataloging them all...
