This might sound weird, and I hope this is the right topic section.
I as you know live in South Africa and have a passion for old American short documenteries mainly 1940 to 1950.
This is a thank you to all my fellow American CCF members for what your ancestors did namely the best coin in my opinion the Morgan dollar.
I have and had coins from all over the world but, man NOTHING even comes close to the Morgan.
to me it is the ultimate coin!!
Many will disagree and that is ok.
I carry my Morgan with me every where, it rarely leaves my hands.
being diagnosed with bi polar a few years ago, this coin saved me a few times, it made me believe that I am still here.
It's still part of my healing.
its a 1879p
so basically I wanna thank America for making a coin that saved my life a few times.
weird how something so small can have a huge impact

My older daughter has bi-polar AD, so I can relate. The Morgan began production just a decade after the American civil war, so in a sense the whole country was suffering from bi-polar symptoms. I mean this seriously.

Glad you found your "Peace Piece".

I truly understand where you are coming from, teslacoil.

Personally, Saint Gaudens Double Eagle or the Walking Liberty half dollar. I do like a Morgan with clean fields!

My stepmother is bipolar teslacoil, so I have an idea of how hard things can be for you. Of all coins, I like dollars the best, especially the Morgan.
