It's 1859.
A kid goes into a candy shop and sees a sign, "4 for a nickel". She pulls out a dime, and walks out with her candy, two fish scales, and three nickels.

Two coin-collecting-cannibals were eating a clown when one turned to the other and asked: "Does this taste funny to you?" Thank you, I'll be performing all week.

At a show, an EAC coin dealer-buddy of mine sold me a holed/plugged Fugio Cent a few years ago for $45. I told him I'd be submitting a few coins with a TPG service and later check back with him about lunch. At lunchtime, I told him the TPG guy said that the Fugio was one of only two known for that variety. My friend then turned white as a ghost. After a minute or so, I confessed my fabrication and bought his lunch.

A rabbi, a priest, and a minister walk into a coin shop. The proprietor says, "The bar is next door."

Wheaties Sometimes you can find steel-cut oats in your wheaties box. It's 1900. A guy walks into a store and buys an item priced at $0.25. He hands the cashier a quarter, and leaves with his purchase and $2.25 in change.

Not a joke (well kind of) but a poem by Shel Silverstien. One of my favorites besides "Sick" & "Sister For Sale"...

Good one, Cascade. I think I've seen that before.
Here's another one:
It's 1780. A guy walks makes a $0.15 purchase, so he pays with a $6 note and doesn't receive any change.
