Ok Doubling in a LWC/LMC is a hard thing for me to see. So many glares and different angles to look at combined with my poor eyesight makes it really difficult.

Anyways I have this 1951S LWC that looks to me like the "I" in liberty may be slightly doubled. looks like a lower ridge hanging off the right side of the "I".

Is it doubled slightly or is it PMD. Or are my eyes just playing with me and it is nothing.

Thanks again...Mont.

Not sure, it could've just taken a hit, or it could be a die chip or gouge.

After doing some reading I am thinking(if it is doubling)this may be what is known as "Abrasion Doubling". Is this correct?

More like circulation flattening. Note the L and B on LIBERTY.
