can somebody tell me why this coin is so expensive
it costs about $ 50 dollars , I have never seen it cheaper

aldrin, that is his signature, it goes after his posts and its the same on every post he makes. Lots of people have them (including me!).

I think you need either 50 or 100 posts to get a signature.

If you shop around you can get the entire 1996 Proof set for $60-$80 .
The mintage for the 1996 proof set is 33,350 so it isn't particularly Rare or scarce, Mabey is that the 1996 business strike coin is only available from the annual Mint set and wasn't produced for circulation that year that is inflating the values for this coin.
As the 10c coins are Not as highly regarded or collected as widely as the 20c, 50c and dollar coins are I also find it a bit strange that this particular coin is priced so high.
