Just wondering what grade might this get at NGC or PCGS. If It it will be less than pf69, I would rather keep it in its holder and save some money.

I bought the coin for $3,150 and wondering, will grading it make any sense for future (10yrs+) marketability. Did I over pay?

Is there a way to also ask NGC to not slab them if its less than PF69?

Thank you!

I generally think moderns are a poor investment. The 1995-W might be an exception.

I see Proof 69 Ultra Cameo @ NGC, one slight milk spot on the obverse kills it from a 70 p.o.v.

Given the extremely limited mintage, outright scarcity, and number of ASE collectors I think it's a keeper and a solid investment.

The market is being driven by PCGS/NGC Registry Set collectors for ASE's.

That is unlikely to occur.

So, will it at least get a pf69? Another reply said it will get pf69. I will not even send it in if it will not make pf69.
Thnaks for the responses.

I see PR-69 UCAM. I would send it in as most collectors interested in such items want assurance that is is a genuine piece.

Send it in. Least it is more protected in a slab than the airtight. I have to agree I see a 69, I doubt NCS could get rid of the spot. Still you have the king of the proof silver eagle series (Alas I cannot afford one). Your $ your call on what you wanna do with it.

Your into it for a fair price.

I also think it should grade PR 69

A little more for grading I feel would be a good move.

As long as it is store in a good environment there is
no hurry to have it graded.

I like NGC for better coins like this.

For me this is the only ASE I don't have. If I had it, it would be in the
next coins I would be sending in.

PF-69, as the coin is not perfect.
