My First Time Coin Roll Huntin' - Coin Community Forum

nick56x New Member United States 47 Posts	Posted 06/28/2016 5:30 pm Today was my first coin roll hunting, and it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. While, for the most part, I didn't get anything absolutely amazing, I did pick up a few pretty coins. I went and got a box of pennies, and my bounty? 7 Canadian pennies, and 8 wheat pennies, the oldest being from 1945. Not bad, but not great, for my first attempt. I'm debating on whether or not to go cash the remaining pennies in tomorrow and trying out some nickels. Report this Post to the Staff

Figure the wheats might be worth fifteen cents for the lot in this case. I know the thrill of the search is always there, but boy it's tough. Good luck, and - to the CCF! I'm probably going to go over tomorrow morning (to another bank) and exchange out my remaining coins and what I have saved up in coins (my small save is absolutely filled) and go over to my original bank and get about 3 more boxes.
