I have a 2005p 50c graded MS-69 PL by PNG in a hard slab. Please see the picture for the type of slab (the picture attached is not the actual coin, I was unable to photograph due to a broken camera so I found a picture of another PNG graded coin on the Internet in the exact type of slab.

Questions-About-Png-Graded-MS-69-PL-Coin

How reputable of a grading service is PNG? Their site, which is labeled on the back of the slab, pNGCoingrading.com, is no longer accessible. Do they overgrade coins? Is it worth getting the coin regraded by ICCS or CCCS?

I am also unfamiliar about the grade MS-69 PL. Is it MS-69, or PL-69? Is there a difference between PL-69 and MS-69 PL (the grade on the slab)?

I apologize for the long post; thank you for taking the time to answer my questions.

PNG belongs in the category of no confidence.
You'll have to decide about ICCS or CCCS.
They would definitely be an improvement.
BUT
Don't expect anything even close to MS-69.

I accquired this coin for a $5, so I wouldn't mind if I lost some money over it. However, I'm just curious about PNG because I see a lot of PNG graded coins online and about the grade MS-69 PL, never knew it existed (thought it was either PL-69 or MS-69

ICCS would use an MS grade ( MS66) but in the comment line they would put Numismatic BU. Which is the proper way to classify modern "Proof likes".
Proof likes don't exist anymore as we use "uncirculated sets" now, not Proof likes.

Don't expect anything spectacular on the grade. ICCS has never issued an "XX69" grade. (PL/PR/MS) 68 is the highest they use and even that is a rare occurrence.
As for the grading company themselves, they are a joke! But you should never buy a coin for the slab it's in. Buy the coin for the grade the coin is!
