This coin came with a couple of others identified only as "Medieval German", but the fleur-de-lis on both sides has me really puzzled. Could it really be French? And if so, what?

Size and weight are 16mm, 0.7gm. Looks like silver to me.

I have yet to get the hang of reading these medieval inscriptions!

Can someone out there give a name to this one?

Thanks again,
John

Too bad about the hole, but not a bad coin otherwise. Strasbourg is one of those places that is filed under German states, but shows a strong French influence on its medieval coinage.
