This might well be a British half penny from 1809-1810

I have a couple of these with different portraits. They are 'Conder' tokens rather than official coins. There is one currently on ebay:

OK, so now I know, "BRUTUS" half penny token, (1809-1810), also I noticed this design was engraved by Thomas Wyon, thank you!

Interesting damage on the obv, above the point of the bust. Thoughts from the group? Is it most likely from the rim of a milled coin or something else?

I'm curious about the triangular marks myself.
Seeing them quite often on many dollar and crown size fakes from China.
But this coin doesn't seem to fit in with all those others I'm talking about.
I had one theory about maybe another coin edge causing that mark- but I'm not so sure if that is true.
Another theory was marks left by a tool picking up a freshly hot molded fake- but that's another idea perhaps down the wrong path.
