So, I obtained this coin and am actually selling it on ebay. But I think I may send it in to get regraded. So, my questions are:

1. First off, do you think it may come back in a details holder(questionable color) if I get it regraded? I mean it made it through the first time, but is in an old fatty holder, so maybe NGC wasn't as strict back then.
2. Do you think it could possibly go up a grade?
3. And three, if you think it is legit, should I send it back in to NGC or to PCGS?

Thanks for any input. I really appreciate your input.

Looks like a nice coin with a good grade. Wheat cents are hard to grade so I can't speak to if it will go up a grade. Personally I'd leave its is.
Rest in Peace

If you resubmit it I don't think it will come back questionable color .
I think we better leave it as a 65 RB .
Thoughts are leave it as is . don't do anything .

I doubt it will grade any higher, NOT worth the risk or cost of a regrade IMO. It's a nice coin, I'd leave it just where it is.

Why chance it going lower, I don't feel it would make a MS66.

Also, some collectors like the older TPG holders.

FYI - you might get more responses/opinions if you put the
coin information in the title

Thanks everyone. I agree that it is a risk that I shouldn't take. And thanks for the suggestion GR58. I changed the title.

Good decision - just doesn't have the "look" of a 66.
