I picked up each coin today for $5 each, so $10 altogether. I don't know much about these classic coins so can I get opinions about their authenticity and what they are worth. I think $5 each was very good for these two. Also sorry about the pictures it's the best I could get on my phone.

Authentic but heavily damaged. Value in the neighborhood of what you paid.

Must agree - these are "culls" and have very little value, I'm afraid.

I don't really mind. I was just wondering if they were authentic. Plus to me worn coins have quite a story to tell.

Authentic but as posted low grade with problems.

If you did not have other examples and just wanted to have some,
the price you paid is fair.

There are many large cents and Two Cent coins that have problems
Sometimes I think there are more that have some degree of problems
then problem free examples.

The picture makes the large cent appear as though it has a deep cut into its face. All that is is a black stain, I'm guessing a carbon spot?
