MS-65, with a razor sharp strike. A few minor marks in the fields hold it out of 66, but it might make 65+, and I think it would bean as a 65.

This date/mm starts to get fairly expensive in gem grades. If you were to send in for grading, they would really scrutinize every flaw.

That said, it does look like it could make a 65 based on the pictures provided. Could you post some larger photos?

I took a chance on it. I can return it if I don't like it. I will send it for grading and if it grades 65 or better I will have done very well then. Thanks to all for your input! BTW - I will be using ANACS for grading since I am not a ANA, PCGS, NGC member. Also a significant upgrade to the one I already have.

If it comes back as an MS-65, then you did VERY well.

Just received. Here are the pics still in the flip until I am sure I will keep it. Some contact marks on the face otherwise good looking fields and devices. What do you think?

I am at 64 as the marks on the cheek may keep it out of a 65 holder.

I don't think it will make 65 based on the new pictures - there are too many contact marks in main focal points.
