Slightly Misaligned die, not strong enough to command a premium. Spendable.

The hammer die is adjustable on the die setup. The anvil die is stationary. When the alignment of the hammer die is not set correctly we see the misalignment on the coins struck. We refer to this as a MAD coin. (Miss-Aligned-Die)
