Came across this at an estate sale. Pretty worn out but the color on the back is interesting. Maybe missed a step in print? I included one of its brothers for comparison.

Sorry for not being more specific. What caught my eye was how blue the back of the bill looked. I wasn't sure if it was the age and condition or a printing error

I think it's just the result of considerable wear and handling. There really is no way the reverse of such a note could have been printed in blue ink.
