Ive heard of double and triple mint marks but this looks like nothing ive seen doubling wise on the mint mark. Any guesses on what this could be? Thanks for the help!

Looks like zinc rot or maybe a split plating issue.

Dustin6: It is actually both. It started off with splitting and after aging and get oxygen to the zinc underneath, it progressed to zinc rot. It just keep getting worse with time.
