I know there is lamination on the reverse but is it PMD or lamination on the obverse?

Lamination on the reverse, not seeing anything on the obverse.

The rim on the obverse is eroded away some and other areas are pitted. This coin may have spent sometime outdoors. Something is going on with the obverse.

Ok thanks. I saw this one in a lot and I thought it looked interesting

When you said something is going on with the obverse did you mean a possible error or just some kind of PMD?

It is distractive, an acid looking texture that looks like someone tried to clean the coin up with a bit. (if the coin was graded, it would probably just get an authentic grade because it looks like it was altered)
