For $29 this 1934 Peace dollar is either going to be a great deal or an epic failure. Never, ever seen toning this heavy on a Peace dollar before. Not even sure it's real (the coin OR the toning), but seller has 14 day money back. Seller pictures. Not sure if it can be graded from his pictures at all.

AU Details looks like the Eagle took a hit in the head and possible ED.

At AU details with or without ED it's going into the melt bucket.

Still kinda funky looking, I might throw it in an album just because it's so weirdly toned.

I'll take "real" pictures when it gets here.

AU-50, since you are going to toss it in the melt bucket, why not try dipping it in E-Z-Est before you do, you might be surprised in how nice this one might really be.

Good idea. I'll start out with a dilution in water and strengthen as needed, see if it clears up a bit without making it look like the luster thief ran rampant.

In hand pictures (after acetone)

Will post further pictures later on

The two reverse pictures show how drastically different the coin looks with two different lighting angles..
