My Father handed this to me the other day. He didn't say anything but I believe he's looking to find out what kind of condition it's in. Any grading help is appreciated, I am not extremely versed with these :)

I still suffer from lack of awesome photog skillz...

I'd need to see a better obverse photo, but from this I'd start at about EF40 details

By the photos your providing, looks to be EF-45, If full Liberty which I think it may be .
Does not look like a details coin !

pics are a little blurry. it could go either 40 or 45. I'm going to be conservative on this one and go with XF40

EF-40. If there is any crust hidden in the dark tone, then I'd go "details" on it. Always tough to judge from photos.

Agree. Looks like it might possibly have been cleaned, but the pics aren't sharp enough to tell.

I tried to take some better pics. They are a little flooded with light but I'm hoping they are a little clearer in regards to details on the coin.

-as for the question of full liberty I believe that is correct
-as for the question about whether the dark spots are junk on the coin, it appears that the dark area around the O on the reverse is grime, and some other areas are similar
