Sorry that my image isn't better. Note that the tip of upper wing appears to be truncated. Using a loupe, I can see no evidence that this is from wear. Also, if it were explained by wear, I believe the rim would show more wear as well. Thanks in advance.

Looks like it was related to a Struck Through Grease error. A large portion of the STATES OF is also missing. If the devices are wider than the ones not affected, then that is what cause this error on your coin.
