Ok, so I cherrypicked the rare v7 that was of coarse promoted as a v3. They said it was cleaned and the pics were bad but thought I'd take a chance for $240 and drain my pp account as I had it at au details and can't afford a straight au/ms right now. Got it and it's been lightly polished but has tooling scratches below the arrowheads and at the wing neck gap areas. It really isn't that bad overall for a details coin but the scratches kinda bug me even though they aren't in your face in hand without magnification. My question is, at $240 did I get a good enough deal for a nice overall au slightly polished details v7 with a few tooling scratches. Should I return it or maybe try for a partial refund as the pics were intentionally trying to hide the scratches even though they did say it was "cleaned"

What say you dave & nate & others? Also adding a link to the op listing....

Well one pic did kinda show the lower scratches but I think I thought or was hoping I guess that those were scuffs on the generic slab as it is scuffed up a bit. Whatcha think, still a good deal at $240?...

If it bothers you now it always will. That's not just a lightly cleaned Morgan, that's a SNAD.

This is the VAM JB and JR spoke about at the Dallas ANA. What a humorous story.

Well I did gamble. I can't remember the last time I returned something. Would have to figure out how again lol. I do like the high detail and the polished mirrors I kinda expected or a light dip but the graffiti I wasn't. This is an eds example without the crack at M or the polished down UNI. I'm torn here. I would almost feel like I'm cheating on a gamble but then again he should've at least described or photoed the scratches.

AU details seem to be in the $350 range but I'm wondering how bad the scratches will hurt trying to sell it in the future once I get an ms example
