Original color is important--looks VG8. Lack of rev lettering is excepted I think --. Anyways I got some time to pay this off-- and I wanted a good example. I wont mind a re opinion about this Very rare copper
Photos not the best but I would agree with VG-8. The obverse surfaces look smooth and nice but the reverse surface looks a bit pitted. Might pull a "details" grade if it is environmental damage. Still a knock out coin, congrats!
Ok so I thought the obverse has VG10 rev is G6 details but-- as I understand its the balance of the grading that levled this a VG8 - PCGS. It could be that at this level grade even with porous issues it still receives a solid number because this is what is still expected with the VG level as normal part of coin of Rare as such. I tried to imagine the color of coin with photo shop help. Lol but I think this is close.
