There They Go Again, Weird Bidding Software.

So I haven't bid on anything in a couple of weeks, and 2 days ago I was bidding on a cheap video game for my son. As the clock ticked down, I placed my bid with the first click, but when the next window that appeared so I could confirm the bid, it didn't show the clock with time remaining . I panicked and just hit confirm. Fortunately I won the item. I've seen this in the past several times, and ebay has always reverted back to the old software with the clock. Maybe this is another trial. There is a workaround, all you need is another browser window open to see the clock. Anybody else see this in their area?
