I could only suspect a weak 5-A obverse. I have a few Morgan's I would like to get graded, this is one. MS-63 would be pleasing. Thanks All, AG D.

I'd be inclined to call this one VAM-5B.

Just make sure they leave it in this slab.

Cool gentlemen! I tried do do a few that day and was getting frustrated. I like the coin and would make certain they leave it in the GSA hardpack Mont, but have a slight concern about the minor hits on both sides. AG D

Does slab say "Silver Dollar" or "Uncirculated Silver Dollar"?

If I remember right this was their way of doing a little "pre-grading" Those labeled "Uncirculated" tend to grade higher than the one labeled "Silver Dollar"

Having said that I do believe this will easily make MS63 maybe even MS64 I don't think the hits are distracting or big enough to worry about.

Mont, It is the "silver dollar" type. Still a decent coin. The "graders" they used may not have been experts at the time. AG D
