Not hearing anything from Ottawa on the forum, anyone go, what was it like, well attended? Pick up any coins, auctions, surprised - no chatter.

I was there. It seemed be well attended and dealers I spoke to seemed to be happy.
One dealer was selling stuff for 1/2 off, including some of his world silver, so you could sometimes get stuff for below bullion. You can be assured that I was there.
There was the usual mix of low and high priced junk, low and high priced good stuff, and the mint was selling a 1 Kilogram gold coin for only $69,000 Can. I passed on that one. The Geoff Bell auction seemed to fetch good prices for most stuff. I won one auction and picked it up at the show. Mr. Bell and his staff were very pleasant to work with.

I was only able to browse for 2-3 hours, but I did find nice things. Among other things, a 1951 quarter with a clash, my first for that year.

I was at the show all day Friday and Saturday. Similar to previous comments, good turn out, dealers seemed very happy, very nice displays for the competition. I was able to pick-up some missing coins an paper money for my collection. Above all, was able to talk with good friends and kudos to volunteer who did a great job, always available to answer question.

I was there from Tuesday until Saturday. I had an exhibit in competition but did not win one of the prizes. The bourse was well attended, particularly on Friday. I collect ancients so there was not much for me. There were 3 dealers who had ancients and they did not have anything I needed. In the end I bought a coin book and digital calipers for measuring my ancient coins.
Overall it was a good show and I will go again.
