Currently attending ebay Open 2016 min Las Vegas. Just had lunch with Mark Flaa, department head for Coins, Bullion, and Currency. A couple of very positive things may be on the way for the listing of ICCS, CCCS on ebay .com . Looks like ebay is going to make other changes in the near future that may be of benefit to all sellers. There is indeed a serious concern about the proliferation of counterfeits. Mark specifically gave credit to both Mike Marshall and Bobby on the forum. |

I'm glad someone else now knows that they DO care. Mark is a good man who has done a lot already and is trying his best.

Bobby, nothing but positive feedback. Looks like some good is going to come out of all the battles! Mark really seems interested in the numismatic community and its future welfare. OT this is a heck of a conference here in Las Vegas . Great food and lots of networking. There are about 30 or so Canadian ebay sellers here. I met with Mark yesterday and this afternoon. They are really working hard to make the right changes, and it is great to have an advocate like him running the department. Jack, are you going to the happy hour thing this evening? I should be there around 5-5:15 or so...

Mat St. Marie from ebay Canada announced this at the Spring Canadian Coin Expo during my seminar. It has been a long battle to get ICCS CCCS and BCS accepted by ebay. It will do nothing but assist Canadian collectors. I attempted to get the RCNA involved in the spring but my phone calls went unreturned. Go figure. Edited by nickelsguy

@jdmern no we are going to the event hosted by ebay Canada , Andrea Stairs. Hopefully catch you at the seminars or meetings. Good Luck. @MM , I can assure you that there will be something happening. Keep up the good work ! You are highly respected for what you do and are doing. As to the RCNA oh well. |

That was the MAIN topic of conversation believe me. Counterfeit coin sellers are an ebay priority according to Mark . Trouble is it is akin to dealing with an ants nest. Kill one three pop up! |

You can list ICCS, CCCS and BCS on ebay.ca now which shows up on ebay.com. |

No ICCS cannot be listed in USD on ebay.com. That is under review ( ICCS, CCCS, BCS ) and discussion according to ebay. One outfit that was under scrutiny , our old pal NNC. They have been getting slapped big time. OT it appears from the meetings and workshops here in Las Vegas that ebay is starting to look after sellers on a much better level. |
