I found this in a lot of world coins given to me as a child. I was very excited to see that there was only 50k mintage, but I'm a total newbie at estimating coin grades. I was thinking this might be fine, but what do you think? Does the rim damage on the reverse kill the value? Worth sending in for certification? Thanks for your thoughts!

I would be comfortable calling it Fine. There seems not enough wear for a VF.
