Here's another find from my unburied collection of world coins given to me as a child. It has "AU" written on it, but it's also been rattling around in a flip box since 1983 and has a little bit of grit (pvc?) on it. I'm curious what you all think since it's listed in the book as $25 XF40 and $800 MS60. Thank you for your thoughts!

I'd say XF/AU.
The "scratches" look very normal for these grades
