Is this a few Die Cuds causing this error? The date and the designer initials are both partially blocked by extra flowers or leafs that shouldn't be there

Not a Cud,cuds always include the rim. If only on the rim makes it a rim Cud,if it starts on the rim and goes into the fields then it is a Cud. Yours may be die chips.

Yeah, I've got a couple Alaska quarters and due chips that look like the bear has an extra claw. Two P and even a D mint mark
