Request input on grade of this 1804 1/2 Cent coin. It has an overall dark chocolate color but photographed lighter in indoor natural light.

I am thinking G06. Your thoughts? Thank you

Thanks for your input. What are the common causes of corrosion and environmental damage? I would guess being outside or buried, exposure to acids or corrosive substances. Thanks again. Bill

Agree VG-08 details. I always think of ED as due to natural causes (principally moisture or ground salts) rather than deliberate treatment with chemicals, but maybe I'm wrong here.
