And to add insult to injury just compare the nose curvature of that 1804 that the eBayer put down next to a PCGS CoinFacts 1804 dollar:

The bottom photo of the CoinFacts specimen shows a nose virtually straight from the nose tip to the point between the eyes. The ebay 1804 nose is obviously concave inward.

Showing this coin up next to the 1797 doesn't help the sale of the 1797 any...

mdpmedia, the seller placed the counterfeit on a Red Book as a backdrop; the image of the 1804 you see is from the Red Book.

Here's a better image of the Red Book photo alongside the image from CoinFacts:

Regardless of the Red Book photos, the coin being sold is a counterfeit.

Not sure what the seller means by "I'm not a coin expert I just started coins couple months ago pictures of people's attics Excedrin" other than this is is an admission that it might be fake.
