So I've invested quite a bit thus far in physical silver as of right now silver spot is $20.50 rd #s. A guy has 181 ounces of silver bullion with 54 ounces being ASE for $19 per/oz. How much physical silver is enough? Should I buy just the ASE? I've also recently opened up a DRIP into various companies. Considering that making a DRIP successful is your weekly/monthly investment fee I ll be putting cash fwd to see the growth in that over time. Should I buy all 181 ozs or be happy with the 54 ASE and put the "free" cash into the DRIP?

buy all the silver you want while we remain in thie uptrend. However, the only thing I say stop buying so many ASEs and start buying bullion that has the numismatic premium to it, like pandas, kooks, koalas, lower mintage bullion IE. I say QUALITY over QUANTIFY.
... and what about gold? I dont see you talking gold. if you dont have any gold think about buying gold.

@yup yeah I only have a 1, 1/4, 1/10 oz for gold. Not very much lol. I'm not a big fan of gold due to it being violative. The $5 up, $12 down, $3.78 down, $28 up drives my bug nuts. It's probably just me since I haven't but much interest into it.
On a side note I did my first 1 oz Can. Maple Leaf around 12 yrs old for $333 lol.
My magic number is $34. That means I could be sitting on physical silver for a solid yr+. I like seeing fast green growth, gives me the "thrive" and "excitement" if you will.

Well -- silver is actually historically more volatile than gold, but silver is a fun purchase because you get to buy so much more than gold!
I think only you can answer the question "How much physical silver is enough?"
In a totally general sense, I prefer DRIP (or similar alternative) for investing and silver for enjoyment and/or emergency fund. How you divide your allocations is up to you and your comfort level/investment philosophy, but I do believe that diversity is extremely important!

That's $271.50 under spot. Are they unaware of the spot price? Is this on Craigslist? Is this a friend of yours? Is it on ebay? Is this picture supposed to be the 181 ounces?

"How much physical silver is enough?"
Enough for what?
To me it just seems like you want silver for the sake of hawking it. Get out of this racket.

ASE's for $19 with spot over $20? Beware of Chinese counterfeits.

I'd be careful if I were you. Selling such a big load well under spot sounds fishy to me.
Also, I think you can get a bit better advise here if you share a few more details: who is the guy (do you know him personally?), what's the other silver, is any of it verified genuine?
Also, how much silver is enough silver depends on what you want to do with it. If you see it as an investment, then I recommend that you rather invest in a PM fund than in the physical stuff. If you want to feel like Uncle Scrooge, then go ahead and buy as much as you can. :)

"Funds" have and DO go belly up occasionally and your investment goes down the tube with them.

Since someone revived this topic, I will state that OP has not come back or posted elsewhere on this board since the day they started this topic (15 days ago).
I was hoping to learn more about the details of the offer they got.
