Seller's pictures. The seller does not know much about US coins, evidenced by the high percentage of foreign coins in his listings. It is not advertised as a 1922 D, nor a 1922 no D. Just a 1922. There is a gouge where the mintmark should be. First 2 is weak, as well as the reverse. O in ONE is out of round. Die Pair 3? Edited by TypeCoin971793 08/03/2016 07:54 am

I can see the MM, just an average 1922D.

I agree, the mint mark is there.

Yeah, possibly weak D Die 3, but not much value, D is visible.

It's the die pair 3 judging by the distorted "O" and the reverse is rotated slightly counterclockwise.
Not much value in this condition...

I agree with the other's, I can see a D.
Good chance it is a die pair #3. Die pair #3 can be either a missing D, or a weak D. I think the coin posted is a weak D, and not as weak as some I have seen.
In this condition, I don't think it has much value.

Same here - worth very little in this state, a hole-filler at best.

Males me wonder if someone purposely dented that area to hide the D.
