I was trying to find 2014 Kennedy half bags, but had no luck. Got a few P&D rolls.

Did they all get opened up and sold off one at a time? I thought it was strange for such a recent mintage.

Will I run into the same problem with earlier years or just a "2014" issue?

Any input would be appreciated,

Thanks, Zisky

Not sure why there are not many bags for sale.

Maybe they are not very popular

I don't think they normally sell a really large number of bags, I think they sell mostly rolls. Then a very large percentage of the bags that they do sell are probably opened and searched. That wouldn't leave a lot of unopened bags to appear on the market. And of the ones that do probably a lot of those are then opened and searched. The number of unopened bags probably dwindles down pretty fast.

I would also wonder if the sales of bags and rools might have been lower than normal in 2014 as well. All the real interest in the Kennedy halves that year was focused on the high relief coins. The regular business strikes kind of took a back seat that year.

Bags of bags full of coins? Not sure which is wanted but some banks will just give you a coin bag free if your a customer. No coins inside though.

LOL, I was looking for the unopened bags with the coins still in them. I thought it would be intersting to have the P&D bags for each year but quickly found it to be more complicated. So I am going to go woth the rolls for now and keep an eye out for any unopened bags.

Thanks for the information!
