I loved the last one, so I am trying it again. Thought I got a good deal on this one for $375.

Looks authentic, mid-VF, concerned about possible scratches on obverse. Larger pics, please!

Maybe a rating of VF and a great price IMO. I don't think you could find one of these on ebay for $375. I think you could put that coin on ebay right now and make a get $500 at least. Where ever you are looking for your coins keep looking. I know that prices for Buffalo nickels seem to have been weak when I was collecting them. I got mostly VF coins for F prices, but you did better than that.

VF ....detailed grade because of the distracting scratch in front of the nose. The price you paid was fair.

Yeah, I did not notice the scratch. That is the thing about buying a coin raw just from a photo. If the coin is graded at least you know exactly what you are getting most of the time.
Rest in Peace

If the coin is a VF coin it is worth more than $375. Red Book says it is worth $500 in just good condition. This is just a ball park figure, but $375 is cheap by any standard unless the scratch is a real defect and I can't tell from the photo.

I offered $375 because I alway look at great collections to see what I would potentially get if I had to liquidate for some reason such as an emergency. $375 was what the most recent VF Details sold for. Do others use this practice? I use Great Collections because they usually sell for less then similar coins on ebay, so I want to be conservative.
