So I just picked up a 50 cent peice today to finish my 1967 coins... looking at it through a loop... there is a lot of doubling. (its not a double stirke) just doubling on the legend and the wolf....

is this a recognized error?

(it is a cameo if that helps...)

You should have posted in the 'error' section and without pics this thread is useless. Doubling can happen anytime.

I have found both proof-like and specimen 1967 coins that have doubling.

I would think it is somewhat common and wouldnt add much of a premium...but that depends on how much doubling there is...

You should have added the pictures to this thread, not start a new one.

Lets keep the discussion to only one thread. Locking this one since the pictures are in the other one.
