I just now won on ebay an ICCS MS-64 1978 Small Denticles 25c for $16.73! Yippie! Quite a bargain since my Charleton says its $30 for that grade.

Interesting back in '79 we used to get so many of them in vending machines in Montreal. The "large beads" was actually harder to find at our school so we tossed the "small" ones.

Until rarity was established...

Twenty ICCS coins of the same grade sold in 2007 on ebay for average price of $17.04 Canadian. You nailed that one. Charlton is a retail price guide. Most coins sell on ebay for 50 to 70 percent of catalog price. Some sell for a couple times catalog value.
