Honestly looks like someone intentionally tried to remove the "8" and the last digit of the date making it literally look like the date is "16"... Oddly enough, looks like they moved the number onto Liberty's cheek...lol...

Just something odd I figured I'd share.

Definitely post mint damage. My guess would be that this is an 1865 Indian cent. There is really no value here.
