Unfortunately I ran across a lot of polished dimes. Now my eyes are playing tricks on me and I'm really struggling to identify original dimes but cleaned ones. I know the pictures aren't the best, but does this look original or cleaned (and why)? Thanks.

Looks polished or extremely over dipped. Essentially a melt value coin.

Just can't tell for sure. The smallest pic (of the reverse) makes the coin look OK.

use the same setup and lighting as the reverse to take pics of the obverse, then crop it to make it larger
