Traded for this with fellow member georgescoins for a pair of gold coins plus a nice $10 1922 gold certificate from him. What do you think grade Wise? I'm thinking 62/63. This is going to NGC next week with a few gold coins. Fields are relatively clean but the cheek took the brunt of the hits.

Very nice I'm at 64. The cheek isn't bad at all and the reverse is outstanding.

Easy 63 with a decent chance for MS-64. The cheek marks all look to be shallow "luster grazes" which usually are not judged as harshly as scratches or contact marks. You are leaving it in the GSA holder for grading, right? You don't want to lose the GSA pedigree.

Yea I will pay the extra for the GSA pedigree granted for NGC it has to be a separate invoice hence more $ but if it squeaks out 64 I'll be haopy

Should be easy 63. My 81cc GSA has rub marks on the west cheek as well. Attractive coin Alpha. One on my wish list in the GSA.

Obverse 62+, Reverse 65. I think it nets out around 63 since obverse carries more weight in Morgan grading.

I agree with 62+ possibly 63 on a good day. Probably semi PL based on the amount of frost.

Well we will see what happens in a few weeks,,,,I'm sending it out Tuesday or Wednesday. I think NGC and PCGS are a but lenient on GSA coins so I'd love a 64 (one can dream right)....

My grade would be somewhat weak MS-63 or an MS-62+. I've seen a fair number of CC dollars that were cut some slack, so MS-64 is possible, but not probable.
