Seeing as I'm more of a newbie when it comes to the Kennedy halfs, was just wondering if I got a decent deal on this or if I over paid a bit. Paid $20.94 for it including shipping. NGC had it listed for $90, just no idea how accurate those prices in their guide are. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

NumisMedia has the PF-68 at $23.75 and the PF-69 at $90. I think you did okay.

You probably did "ok", but remember.....there are thousands and thousands of 1972 proof sets out in coin land that have not been broken up that contain half dollars just like yours (or better) and will grade accordingly.

Those sets can be had for around $5 or so at most dealers.

Thanks for the info guys. Much appreciated! This is my first graded coin so as long as I didn't completely over pay I'm good :-) Look forward to continuing the collection.
