I came across this piece yesterday. And being brand new to the currency world I know nothing about it. Was hoping someone could give me some info or explain to me what it is exactly.would it be worth adding to my clection? Any and all info will be greatly appreciated.

well, its 90% silver. looks like it was inside a bevel, making it some sort of charm or locket type thing (not 100% sure about that)

with no date remaining it is only worth silver spot (considered junk silver)

You can tell it was beveled from the obverse. The reverse edge is flattened. Still worth silver melt.
