I was looking at the foreign coins I had found. Just threw them in a cup when I found them. Didn't realize I had as many as I did. Does anyone else save the foreign coins they find? Was wondering what other coins are being found around. It would be cool to see what if any everyone else has. This is what I have found so far.  |

Sadly enough, I've gotten at least one of every type you have shown just from roll searching. Alot of foreign coins hidden in our american change.

Nice range of coins! What year is that Canadian 10c? From the color, it looks silver.

There is for sure alot of foreign coins mixed with ours. I live by an army base And I get all kinds in my change. My daughter just gave me 2 pfennig coin and a one cent from Bermuda yesterday. She works at Subway and keeps an eye out for me. I want to see how many different countries I can find MDing.
The Canadian coin is 1966. That was my first silver coin this year.

What is the coin to the right of the pfenning and 2 eurocent? Bottom right corner?

That German mark is one I like also. Great shape considering. Just wish it wasn't stained.

Thanks Sap! All of my Netherlands coins are older than that and I have never seen that variety before.

They're all in remarkably good condition for coins that came out of the ground.

About 3/4 of them came out of the kids play area. Sand and mulch. So I think they couldn't have been there long.
