coop Bedrock of the Community United States 62064 Posts	Posted 03/04/2008 4:48 pm I was thinking a lamentation from some metal that got struck onto the planchet. It looks like it wraps around the mint mark on the northeast edge. That's what I see from the images. If this a circulated coin it has stayed on a long time. On a BU coin it may have never been disturbed. Report this Post to the Staff
